Diggnation Meetup – Temecula, CA – March 6, 2007

So where gonna take a trip on March 6th to Temecula! (great isnt?) Well, were going to this Diggnation Meetup which is being organized by Diggnation fan Stephen Searer. Hopefully at this meetup Kevin and Alex will show up. That will be really cool of them. Anyways I’m excited to be going to California, since I need a break from Phoenix. Oh and my gf Sarita is going too, so that will be cool. It will be her first time going to Cali. Where gonna stay at Temecula on the 6th then on the 7th go to L.A. and see the beach. So check out the deets below and hope to see you there.

From Inside Social
Hey everyone,

It has been a while since I first posted about playing Diggnation on the Bigscreen, but I finally worked out a date and time with the theater. Here are the details:

Who: Anyone that wants to come, all ages are allowed.

What: Diggnation on the Bigscreen, followed by Video Games on the Bigscreen.

Where: Temeku Cinemas, 26463 Ynez Road, Temecula, CA, 92591 (google map) In the Food 4 Less/Mervyns/K-mart center, not at the Promenade Mall.

When: Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 9:30pm. Video gaming will be immediately following the showing until 1:30am

Additional Information: Alcohol is not allowed on the premises. If you want to drink, do it before or after. This event is FREE.

Gaming details: Video gaming will be available until 1:30am for those that wish to stay that late. As the later shows of movies let out, we will be increasing video gaming to 4 screens. I cannot provide systems, controllers, and games for people to play. If you want to play something, bring whatever it is that you want to play. I believe the video connections are normal ones, no fancy HD or anything. Hopefully some people will be willing to share :)

If anyone wants to grab some dinner before, let me know there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Please leave a comment if you are planning on coming so I will have some idea how many people will be showing up.

If you have a question leave a comment, or contact me using the contact form on the left side of the page.

Open Letter to SpikeTV

Heres something I sent SpikeTV. Hopefully they will understand how this is annoying and fix it. Btw I’m glad they play hours of Star Trek, one of the only places you can find it on the air. G4 doesn’t count cause they suck.

I am writing because I am pissed how you guys interrupt your normal programming and play marathons of shows like The Three Stooges and MXC. I’m talking about Star Trek DS9 and Voyager. Especially on Fridays when you play MXC what really bugs me is you skip the episode you would’ve played on Friday for DS9/Voyager. For example: Thursday would be episode 14, Friday is skipped cause of MXC marathon then on Monday you would play episode 16. It’s like wtf!, where did episode 15 go. I hate MXC cause of this and will never watch it. If you must play this gay marathons please play them at midnight or primetime. Or at least move Star Trek during the time where Paid Programming is playing, so my TiVo will still catch it.

Thanks,
mopper

What America could buy for $145 billion dollars (the 2007 Iraq war budget).

The Iraq war will cost Americans $145 billion dollars this year alone. That $145 billion could buy free tuition, room, and board for every student in a public university or college, and there would still be enough money left over to end hunger in America four times over. Digg this story and help spread the word on how our taxes are being spent.
