NOFX made a blog posting on thier myspace page announcing a new album “THEY’VE ACTUALLY GOTTEN WORSE LIVE” similar to “I Heard They Suck Live” album but with no repeated songs. Due out in November.

That’s right, back in January, NOFX booked 3 nights of talking mixed with the occasional song at Slim’s in San Francisco and recorded a live record. It’s their sloppiest, drunkest, funnest, best sounding recording ever with new versions of old songs, rare songs and they even made sure not to play any songs off their 1995 live album I Heard They Suck Live. They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live is scheduled to make the walk of shame into record stores sometime in November.

So Apple unvieled the new imacs today along with the macbook style keyboard and I gotta say the new design is very sexy. A lot of people say the black on it sucks. The black really sets it apart. Most all imacs have been white minus the fruity first gen models. Change is good, it refreshes the product line and will attract new customers. Apple is after all a business. Plus if you havent noticed Apple is slowly moving to a black product line starting with the ipod, then the macbook and the iphone.

Another complaint I keep hearing is the glossy screen. You know what? This products is aimed at consumers and most of them prefer a glossy screen. You think Apple didnt do the research? They know what they are doing. If your a professional and need a matte screen, you shouldnt be looking at an imac in the first place.

Another thing im hearing people whine about is how the 17 inch model was cut. I mean come on, 20 inch + is where things are headed in the desktop arena. You want a smaller screen? Get a mac mini. Especially when you see the cheapest 20 inch model is priced at $1199. Wasnt the old 17 inch the same price?

The whole event today was everything I expected with a new imac line, new keyboard, and iLife, iWork, .mac updates. Apple after all clairified this as a “Mac” event. So dont cry about no iphone updates or any other of their prodicts.

Just want to let everyone know I support Mike Gravel. He is a straight talker. He doesnt bullshit like most all politicians. He will end the Iraq war if it is still going on when he is elected. He supports gay rights and universal health care. He also wants to abolish the IRS and income tax and use a fairtax system.
