Today I was thinking of Will Smith, and no, not in the gay way. I was thinking of how he has played the same character in nearly every movie he has made. The role I am talking about is the hero role who always has a sense of humor. He always plays the likable character and is always counted on by fellow characters to succeed and cheered by the audience. You always finish the movie with a “Wow! He was great!”. Here you go:

1.) Bad Boys

Will Smith along with Martin Lawrence play cops who must protect a murder witness aka they are heroes.

2.) Independence Day

Next Will Smith must save the world, literally, against an alien invasion.

3.) Men in Black

In Men in Black Smith must save the world again from some aliens and he does it a third time in the sequal (Men in Black 2)!

4.) iRobot

Now, after exhausting all alien invasion plots, Will stars as some normal guy who stops these insane robots from doing something evil! You guessed it, he saved everybody! Nothing can stop him now.

5.) I Am Legend

In this flick Will Smith plays a scientist/navy general guy who is trying to save whats left of humanity against a virus that turns people into vampire zombies. Surprise! He finds a cure at the end!

6.) Hancock

In Will’s latest film Hancock, he is cast as a hip hop/celebrity/super hero. What a combination! I haven’t seen this as I am waiting till its on cable to watch it, I heard its good, but I will wait.

So there you go, and Will, if you ever read this, try playing something new, like a bad guy or some minor role in a movie. I know this is something you are good at and you make tons of cash but come on, give us something different!
